  • * RE Sauce
    This site is written by the RE Department of St. Mary's College in Hull. It provides teaching and learning material for the Key Stage 3 programme, GCSE and post 16 education . Free PDF and .doc files are available to be used to suit the needs of teachers and students.

    * The Church of England
    A good source of factual information about the Church of England. Teachers will find 'The Church of England's view on…" particularly useful. Includes views on subjects such as animal welfare, hunting, factory farming, abortion, alcohol, drugs, genetically modified organisms, contraception, homosexuality, capital punishment, divorce, etc.

    * The Vatican's Official Website
    Contains information on the Pope, the vatican archives, museum and library.

    * BBC - Religion and Ethics
    Interactive online lessons aimed at ages 11-14 and 14-16 looking at themes of Christianity.

    * Canterbury Cathedral
    This is Canterbury Cathedral online which covers the history of the cathedral and has plenty of pictures of the building inside and out. The stained glass pictures are worth a look.

    * Bible Gateway
    An online searchable Bible available in over 35 languages.

    * What does the Bible say about Christian values and Christian living?
    Here is a list of ten values or principles for living that are emphasized most strongly in the Bible.

    * Wikipedia List of Saints
    A small selection of Christian saints in alphabetical order by Christian name, but if necessary by surname, the place or attribute part of name as well.

    * Christian apology for the Crusades
    A site reflecting on the history and motivation of the crusades as well as how Christians, Muslims and Jews now feel about it.
